During winter colds, the skin is prone to external factors and requires careful care. The main problem of the skin associated with the cold is dehydration, which leads to a loss of elasticity and dryness. Skin in winter becomes more sensitive and dry than in summer. This should be considered when choosing cosmetics.
Soothing protective creams are the perfect solution for basic daily skin care. Thanks to their plant components, these products at the cellular level prevent the appearance of redness and irritation, relieve uncomfortable sensations (a feeling of tightness, dryness and itching), soften the skin, providing an antioxidant effect. Also in the winter it will be useful 1-2 times a week to make nourishing masks for the skin of the face, neck and décolleté. Do not forget about salon procedures: those that are aimed at restoring lipid levels and increasing local skin immunity will be especially fruitful.
During cold weather, you should abandon the use of various gels and facial cleansers, as these funds violate the skin's water balance. Use a moisturizing cleansing milk, which removes makeup residues well, but does not dry the skin and does not damage the hydrolipidic mantle.
We read the composition
The composition of winter skin care products must necessarily include such components as vitamin C (it has a beneficial effect on the blood vessels of the blood system), vitamin A (perfectly nourishes the skin), herbal extracts (prevent the occurrence of irritations and allergic reactions). It is also worth paying attention to the presence of vegetable oils in the composition, which reduce skin hypersensitivity, help eliminate dryness and increase its protective functions.
What does skin need?
In order to help the skin survive the cold, do not forget that its main needs in winter are moisturizing and protection.
Refuse to use lotions in the morning to tone the skin (especially alcohol) - alcohol helps to dehydrate. A cream that serves as a base for makeup should not contain more than 25% water,
For oily and combination skin
Dense creams with a dense texture are not suitable for this type of skin. To help oily skin cope with the cold, various fluids are available that have a light helium texture, the composition of which includes components with anti-inflammatory effect.
